Yes, that´s exactly what a picture challenge is, we did that at "my" former board for inspiration (I´m not that creative unless I have strong feelings, so I always liked those challenges).

Do you write other poetry apart from limericks, btw? I can´t remember seeing a poem of yours, but then I´m still quite new ... If so, I´d love to read some of your works!!

If you have any ideas for the poetry forum, please let me know ... What about a picture challenge, for example?

I hope your evening just needed brightening because we can always use that??

A picture challenge sounds a very good idea. I imagine that we look at a picture and weave a poem around it. A brilliant suggestion!

I have composed other poetry and some of it is in the Writers' Lounge but it's only stuff that I amused myself with on wet days. It isn't as good as most of the poetry there and certainly not up to Ivor and Irenes' standard. I love to learn though and hopefully improve over time.

Realized I haven´t given you a kudo yet, so here´s one for your great limericks which I always enjoy

You´re one of the few who get the rhythm right ... It tortures me when people don´t (grammar/spelling nazi, poetry nazi, I know, I know, I´m hopeless)
